The Package Travel, Package Holidays and Package Tours Regulations 1992 provide that all UK tour operators must have insurance cover to protect guests against company insolvency.

Wildabout Orkney complies with the regulations through a tour operator failure insurance policy with AmTrust Europe and administered by Status Insurance Management Ltd, which fully protects our guests against the loss of all monies paid for a holiday and repatriation to the point of departure, if required, in the event of insolvency.  AmTrust Europe and Status Insurance Management are authorised and regulated by the Financial Services Authority.
