Wildabout Otters

Almost 20 years ago, Wildabout Orkney adopted the otter for our company logo.  We are pleased to announce that we have now adopted an actual Eurasian (Lutra lutra) otter named Catkin, through the International Otter Survival Fund (IOSF).

Catkin’s Story:
My name is Catkin and I am a female otter cub.  At about 3 months old I was found alone at Dyce near Aberdeen and was taken to a vet who then arranged for me to travel to IOSF on the Isle of Skye.  IOSF will now care for me until I am old enough to go back to the wild.

Wildabout Orkney is proud to be a Life Supporter of IOSF and to assist in the worldwide conservation of otters.

For further information or to adopt your own otter, please visit www.otter.org.
