How far in advance should I book? We recommend that you book as far in advance as possible to avoid disappointment. Also, the sooner you book, the more you can save. Please consult our Special Offers for further information.
Please note that holiday bookings made within 21 days of departure are subject to a late booking fee.
Do you require a deposit for my booking? A deposit of 50% is required at time of booking and the balance must be received eight (8) weeks before your departure date.
If the total amount due is less than £100, payment in full is required at time of booking.
If your booking is made less than eight (8) weeks before your departure date, payment in full is required to secure your booking.
What forms of payment do you accept? Payment can be made by cheque drawn on UK bank account, Swift transfer, MasterCard, Domestic Maestro, Visa, Visa Electron, Solo, and JCB. We do not accept American Express.

Payment by credit card shall incur a service charge of three (3%) percent. Cheques cannot be accepted for bookings made less than fourteen (14) days before your tour or holiday departure date.
What is your cancellation policy? All cancellations must be submitted to us in writing. The effective date of cancellation shall be the date upon which we receive such notification.

Refunds will not be given for any cancellation fees charged by a third party service provider as a result of your cancellation. You shall be responsible for payment thereof. These cancellation fees shall be in addition to any cancellation fees levied by us.
Do I need travel insurance? We strongly recommend you purchase comprehensive travel insurance for peace of mind and protection against the unexpected.
When will I receive my travel documents? We will forward your documents at least 21 days prior to departure.
Is my holiday protected? In accordance with the Package Travel, Package Tour Regulations 1992, all guests booking with Wildabout Orkney are fully protected against the loss of all monies paid to Wildabout Orkney for a holiday due to insolvency.
