Acceptance of Terms & Conditions By completing your booking, you acknowledge your understanding of these Terms & Conditions and agree to be bound by them.
Booking Your Wildabout Orkney ("Wildabout") booking is regarded as completed upon (i) your acceptance of your itinerary and price quoted; (ii) Wildabout's receipt of monies from you within five (5) working days of acceptance of your itinerary; and (iii) your receipt of our confirmation invoice. Once your booking has been completed, a contract will exist between you and Wildabout and shall be construed and take effect in accordance with Scottish Law.
Prices Wildabout's prices are fixed once you have accepted our quote. All prices will be quoted and payable in Pounds Sterling.
Deposit & Final Payment A deposit of 50% is required at time of booking or if the total amount due is less than £100, payment in full is required. Payment can be made by cash, cheque drawn on UK bank account, Swift transfer, Visa, MasterCard, Domestic Maestro or Visa Electron. We do not accept American Express.

Payment by credit card shall incur a service charge of two (2%) percent. Any bank charges levied by either the sending or receiving bank when executing payment by Swift transfer shall be paid by you. Cheques cannot be accepted for bookings made less than fourteen (14) days before your tour or holiday departure date.
Final payment must be received by Wildabout forty-five (45) days before your tour or holiday departure date. If your booking is made less than forty-five (45) days before your tour or holiday departure date, payment in full must be made in order to complete your booking. If final payment is not received forty-five (45) days before the tour or holiday departure date, Wildabout reserves the right to cancel your booking and cancellation fees as outlined herein shall apply.
When any monies are received, Wildabout will issue a confirmation invoice by e-mail unless instructed otherwise.
Changes to Booking More than forty-five (45) days before tour or holiday departure date: An administration charge of £25 per person will apply each time one of the elements of your booking is modified and you will be responsible for payment of any additional costs incurred as a result of any changes.
Less than forty-five (45) days before tour or holiday departure date: Cancellation fees as outlined herein shall apply and you will be responsible for payment of any additional costs incurred as a result of any changes.
Cancellation To cancel your booking, Wildabout requires notification in writing. The effective date of cancellation shall be the date upon which Wildabout receives such notification.

Refunds Refunds will not be given for any cancellation fees charged by a third party service provider as a result of your cancellation. You shall be responsible for payment thereof. These cancellation fees shall be in addition to any cancellation fees levied by Wildabout.
Liability and Insurance We strongly recommend that you purchase comprehensive travel insurance. Wildabout will not be responsible for any losses, injuries or damages.
Should Wildabout deem it necessary, Wildabout reserves the right to alter the itinerary and substitute service providers if necessary. With respect to accommodation, an alternative of similar standard will be obtained wherever possible.
Should material changes to a tour or holiday be necessary or extraordinary circumstances arise and Wildabout must cancel a tour or holiday, Wildabout will offer either an alternate tour or holiday of equal value or a full refund of monies paid to Wildabout. This shall be the limit of Wildabout’s liability.
Wildabout will not accept or have any liability for any acts or omissions whether negligent or otherwise of any supplier or person providing services in connection with your tour or holiday unless such a person is employed by or under the direct control of Wildabout. Your tour or holiday is subject to each service provider’s individual terms and conditions.
Right to Refuse Service Wildabout reserves the right to refuse service to persons who cause a nuisance, conduct themselves in an offensive or disorderly manner, or threaten, in any way, theirs or the safety of others. In such a circumstance, Wildabout will not be responsible for any damage or injury sustained by you as a result of your behaviour. Should Wildabout exercise our right to refuse service, you forfeit all monies paid to Wildabout.
Complaints Should you have a concern or complaint, please bring it to our attention as soon as possible and we will do our best to resolve your issue immediately. If you are still dissatisfied, please submit your concern or complaint to Wildabout in writing not more than twenty-eight (28) days after your tour or holiday departure date. Wildabout will endeavour to address all issues within fourteen (14) days of receipt. It is Wildabout's wish that you thoroughly enjoy your time in Orkney and take home happy memories of your Wildabout tour or holiday. Therefore, if you do not inform us of any dissatisfaction, we will not have an opportunity to rectify the situation and, under such a circumstance, we will be unable to accept responsibility.
Finanicial Security In accordance with the E.C. Directive 90/314/EC all passengers booking with Wildabout are fully protected against the loss of all monies paid for a holiday (and repatriation if required) due to insolvency, by way of an Insurance Policy with Contractors Bonding Limited of Tower 1, Shortland Centre, 51 Shortland Street, PO Box 3772, Auckland New Zealand. The administrator of the scheme is Status Insurance Management Ltd, PO Box 2256, Billericay, Essex CM12 0DH. Status Insurance Management Ltd is authorised and regulated by the Financial Services Authority. Contractors Bonding Ltd is a New Zealand registered insurance company and subject to the regulations and supervision of the Insurance and Superannuation Unit of the New Zealand Ministry of Economic Development.
