Natural Harbour of Scapa Flow Duration: 6 hours approx View magnificent panoramas as you travel along historic Scapa Flow and across the first of the Churchill Barriers to the inspiring Italian Chapel on the Island of Lambholm. Then, cruise across Scapa Flow to the Lyness Naval Base & Interpretation Centre on the Island of Hoy. During the voyage, enjoy spectacular live images of the German High Seas Fleet scuttled in World War I and marine life beneath the surface, through a remote operated submersible. Encounter amazing flora and fauna during this exploration of the Orkney Mainland’s various wildlife habitats, including maritime heath, cliffs & beaches, meadows & grassland, lochs & reedbeds, and moorland. We will be on the lookout for seasonal wildflowers and curious seals as well as puffins, hen harriers, short-eared owls, red-throated divers, and much more.
